Violin performance by Kum. Shreya Devnath Versatile, Accomplished Violinist & Vocalist, one of the prime disciples of Violin Maestro Padmabhushan Lalgudi Jayaraman.
Accompanied by Archuna Vijendra on Mrithangam, Kabilesh Kirtharan on Ghatam.
Shreya’s performance will be a Carnatic Classical Violin Solo concert, bringing forth the elements and values of South Indian classicism in a Bani (style) renowned for its purity and elegance. The concert will be a seamless blend of composed and improvised music, with the pieces drawing from the diverse cultural background that South India is blessed with. It will be a musical journey of compositions by varied composers from different states of India, with different emotional and musical intensities, all bound by the fabric that is Carnatic
music. Interpreted though the violin, the musicality of these compositions will be brought forth, through the simple and pure magic of melody, rhythm and aesthetics.
